 Please give back our Childhood!
Dhanalakshmi is her name. Much to the contrary of what her name means she is a poor street child, collecting garbage from the streets of the hightech city of Hydrebad. Do we just blame her karma for her present position or blame the government or their economic policies. What difference can it make for her? All that she needs is her Childhood. Can we give back her childhood. Yes ! Why not - if you want to enjoy the happiness of giving!, you can! Just sponsor One Child and you will make a great difference. There is a saying in Tamil, "Urarar Pillaiyai oottivallarthal tan pillai thane vallarum" - meaning "Care for others children, and your child would be cared for !" Project HARI is aimed at giving an opportunity for Caring our Children and we request your support in our humble efforts to help these most needy children.

 Dasanudas has been distributing thousands of plates of delicious food to street children in Chennai and Hydrebad for the past several years. We would like to thank our kind donors who have kept the Free Food Distribution going for the past four years and hope to have all their continued support in the years to come. From one slum in Chennai in 2002, our free food programm has grown to several slums in Chennai and we have expanded the program to the slums in Hydrebad too. We would like to thank Sri Gopalakrishnan Anand, who inspite of his busy job schedule and a family of two little daughters has been single handedly carrying on the program in Hydrebad. He was the most enthusiastic and inspiring member of our team at Chennai and when we heard he was moving to Hydrebad on job, we felt bad. That was a year back, but now we are happy, that we could expand and reach out to another city in South India, with his support. We hope more such inspiring members would volunteer to carry this sublime service in other needy areas. If you are interested in starting a program in your area, please contact us and we would be happy to help.
