Shri Dasanudas International Charities, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that provides humanitarian needs to the impoverished in India and potentially other 'third world' nations.

The Purposes:

To provide humanitarian aid to the poor and needy in India in the form of food (Annadan), medicines (Oushadan).

To start and run educational institutions and to provide all necessary facilities for the education of the poor irrespective of caste, community, creed or religion.

To grant scholarships to poor and needy students (Vidyadan).

To organise medical relief to the sick and the suffering without any restriction as to religion, caste, community, or creed by construction and or maintaining hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, maternity and childrens homes, etc.

To construct and or maintain libraries for the educational benefit of the public.

In furtherance of these purposes we will disseminate spiritual knowledge and educate persons in the techniques of spiritual life in order to achieve real unity and peace in the world.

At present the relief efforts are focussing in the states of Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh, India which are faced with a serious food shortage due to drought. The aid will consist of food, clothing, and medical supplies. Aid will be given on a first-come-first serve basis within those communities identified as existing in poverty and through orphanages & old age homes.

Future programs: A youth program which will be implemented upon obtaining sufficient funds. This program will attempt to educate and foster leadership values. Our belief is, the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow and they need to be trained and moulded on values & principles of vedic tradition for the betterment of humanity at large.

MISSION STATEMENT

To bring an awareness among the general mass on the real constitutional position of the living entity and create a mood of loving exchange and service to one another keeping the Lord in the center – as taught and enunciated by the great acharyas.

To unite all under the one and only real designation of eternal servants of the servants of the Lord.

To praise, glorify those eternal servants and thereby provide an opportunity to learn and imbibe their wonderful qualities.

To help like minded and genuine vaishnavas in their practise and missionary activities for the benefit of humanity.

To help cultivate such great qualities of Vedic culture and tradition as hospitality etc.

To help build Vedic communities of self-sustenance.

To teach and make available special reformatory (samskara) services for building a better society.

To educate the children, youth, men and women on cultivating spiritual & moral values in a conducive environment.

To achieve the aformentioned through various diverse mediums of communication and activities.

To ultimately help ourselves and everyone yearn and thereby earn the 'The most cherished mercy of the Lord'.
